(Macao, June 11, 2025) – Experience the magic when Disney The Magic Box takes to the stage at The Venetian® Macao’s The Venetian Theatre with 10 shows running from July 12 to 13 and July 18 to 20, 2025. Organised by Sands China Ltd. and presented by Fever, the leading global live entertainment discovery platform, in collaboration with Proactiv Entertainment, the ground-breaking musical makes its China debut, guiding audiences on an enchanting adventure filled with fan-favourite songs, iconic characters, and timeless tales. Tickets are now on sale via Cotai Ticketing, Macau Ticket and Damai.

Following its successful premiere in Buenos Aires in 2024, this spectacular Disney musical adventure has since mesmerised audiences in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and most recently Abu Dhabi and Doha.

The musical follows Mara who steps into a magic box and discovers a world of wonder featuring Disney’s much-loved characters and excerpts from over 75 classic songs from Disney films. This includes Circle of Life (The Lion King), A Whole New World (Aladdin), Let it Go (Frozen), I am Moana (Moana) and Zero to Hero (Hercules), all played by a live orchestra.

The family-friendly 90-minute show is brought to life by the art of puppetry, magnificent choreography, innovative theatrical techniques and stunning visuals, allowing the audience to experience Disney’s storytelling magic and enjoy quality summer time together as a family.

Disney The Magic Box is one of the headlined musicals of the 2nd Macao International Children’s Arts Festival, under the patronage of the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government, organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, co-organised by Sands China Ltd. and supported by various entities.

Taking place from July to August 2025, the festival will feature performing arts, music camps, film screenings, book corners, creative workshops, large-scale outdoor installations and other carnival activities. It aims to create a vibrant and interactive environment where children can explore the world of art, while families enjoy a delightful and artistic summer together. Launched in 2023, Sands China Performing Arts Programme aims to broaden the scope of performing arts in Macao by introducing and promoting premier national, local, and overseas projects. The programme aligns with the Macao SAR Government’s vision for the integrated tourism and leisure industry, leveraging the city’s role as a platform for international exchange while promoting its global reputation as both a City of Performing Arts and Culture City of East Asia.
