2025 FMCC Charity Gala: ESG Awards and Philanthropy in Parallel

The France-Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) hosted a charity gala themed “Voyage on the Seine” at the Grand Ballroom of MGM Macau. The event brought together approximately 300 distinguished guests from Hong Kong, Macau, and the Greater Bay Area, serving as a platform for Sino-French cultural exchange, recognition of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) achievements, and philanthropic fundraising.
During the gala, the winners of the 3rd Macau ESG Awards were announced:
RecyCard claimed the “Best Project Award”;
JC Human Resources Consulting Company won the “Best SME Award” (sponsored by Yonyou);
The Society of Food & Environmental Health (Macao) took home the “Best Non-Governmental Organization Award” (sponsored by Banco Nacional Ultramarino, BNU).
A total of MOP 61,800 was raised through the gala, which will be exclusively allocated to support the “FMCC Hengqin-Macau Inclusive Fun Day” – a cross-border public welfare initiative. Co-organized by the FMCC in collaboration with the Macau Special Olympics (MSO) and the Zhuhai Autism Society (ZAS), the project will invite relevant families from Zhuhai and Macau to participate. Through music therapy, adaptive sports activities, and other sessions, it aims to promote social inclusion for neurodiverse groups.
Mr. Rutger Verschuren, Chairman of the FMCC, stated that the chamber has been continuously building bridges for cooperation between France, Macau, and the Greater Bay Area. Moving forward, it will further deepen its ESG practices and philanthropic endeavors. The gala received sponsorship and support from various enterprises, including MGM China (serving as Platinum Sponsor and venue provider), One Central Macau, and Shun Tak Group. The event also featured a French-style dinner, live band performances, and cultural shows.
