Since the grand finale of the inaugural Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards, Wynn has been actively hosting several Chinese wine promotional events overseas, showcasing high-quality Chinese wines on a global stage. Following the successful event in May, taken place at the private members’ wine club, 67 Pall Mall in Singapore, Wynn recently held two wine tastings with 67 Pall Mall in Hong Kong. Members of 67 Pall Mall and wine professionals were invited to the exclusive event, where they had the opportunity to taste the top Chinese wines recognized at the Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards. Leveraging its culinary expertise and vast network, Wynn is committed to promoting Chinese wines worldwide.
As part of the “Award-winning China” event series led by Eddie McDougall, Chair of Judges of the Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards, the Hong Kong event focuses on the Chardonnay Experience and the discovery of Chinese wineries. Notable wineries including Chateau Nine Peaks, Domaine Franco-Chinois, Domaine Freemind, Domaine de Long Dai, Legacy Peak Estate, Fei Tswei, Mystic Island Winery, Petit Mont, Shangri-La Winery, Tiansai Vineyards and Xige Estate are invited to participate in the event, showcasing their award-winning wines from the Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards. These award-winning vineyards are deemed not only innovative pioneers in the Chinese winemaking industry, but also stand as formidable competitors of globally-renowned wineries. Through the large scale of international promotional events, Wynn aims to enhance the global reputation of premium Chinese wines, strengthen the prestigious standings of Chinese vineyards worldwide, and broaden the overseas markets for Chinese products.
Applications for the Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards 2025 will be accepted until December 31, 2024 via the “Wynn Signature” WeChat mini-program. The formal selection process begins in March 2025. About Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards
Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards is the largest gathering of its kind to evaluate Chinese wines based on international standards. Applications for the 2025 edition of the awards are now being accepted. The inaugural awards featured more than 700 exceptional wines from 200 wineries, evaluated by a panel of 27 esteemed judges, including seven Masters of Wine. Under the supervision of a professional auditing firm, the competition used an internationally recognized 100-point scoring system and blind tasting to select 23 award winners that exemplify quality. During the judging, which took place in March 2024, wine luminaries participated in dinners, Masterclasses, and more at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace.
