World-renowned chefs gather at Wynn for nine enticing pop-up events between October and December, presenting guests the diverse flavors of international cuisines

Wynn continues its ‘Wynn Guest Chef Dining Series’ by welcoming world-renowned culinary masters to Macao. From October to December, award-winning chefs will gather at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace to present a series of nine gastronomic journeys and celebrate the diversity of international cuisines. To inspire conversation and innovation, the ‘Wynn Guest Chef Dining Series’ brings influential chefs together to push the boundaries of culinary excellence, thus supporting Macao’s diversified development of ‘tourism + gastronomy’ and enhancing the city’s status as a UNESCO-designated Creative City of Gastronomy.

Chef Jerry Tian of AVANT (Shenzhen)
Founder and Chef Jerry Tian from AVANT in Shenzhen is set to present two nights of gastronomic delights at Wynn Macau. Renowned for his innovative combinations of flavors and presentation, Chef Tian’s bold innovation and culinary expertise have led the AVANT team to garner its first Diamond in the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide in 2023. Embark on an unparalleled dining journey as Chef Tian takes over Lakeside Trattoria to present his in borderless avant-garde cuisine.

Chef Jacky Shaw of CICADA (Guangzhou)
Jacky Shaw, co-founder of CICADA in Guangzhou is a master of New Hunan cuisine. Renowned for his innovative culinary talent and expertise, he is the first Chinese chef to be invited twice to the World Gourmet Summit and has led CICADA to not only earn one Diamond in the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide but achieve its status as a MICHELIN-selected restaurant. During his time at Wynn Macau, he will continue to push the boundaries of Hunan cuisine through ingenious flavor combinations, new techniques, and contemporary philosophies for guests.

Chef Tam Kwok Fung of Chef Tam’s Seasons (Macao) x Chef Zor Tan of BORN (Singapore)
Cantonese restaurant Chef Tam’s Seasons at Wynn Palace is led by Cantonese master Chef Tam Kwok Fung, who presents seasonal delicacies that incorporate the concept of 24 solar terms and the essence of Cantonese cuisine. Within just one year of opening, the restaurant made both its debut on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list and earned a MICHELIN star. Joining forces with Chef Tam is Chef Zor Tan, a former protégé of the internationally renowned chef and Wynn’s Culinary Ambassador André Chiang. Chef Zor’s inaugural concept BORN is a one-MICHELIN-starred restaurant in Singapore and has secured a place on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list for two consecutive years since opening in 2022. The restaurant showcases Chef Zor’s “Circle of Life” philosophy through cross-cultural contemporary cuisine with a style that marries the elegance and subtlety of French gastronomy with the influence and knowledge of Chinese flavors. During the two-night collaboration, guests can anticipate an elegant menu that showcases Chef Tam and Chef Zor’s creativity and culinary prowess.

As a two-MICHELIN starred restaurant, Wing Lei is a culinary gem at Wynn Macau, showcasing authentic Cantonese cuisine crafted by Executive Chef Chan Tak Kwong. Meanwhile, Chef Sun Kim, chef-owner of Meta in Singapore, draws inspiration from his Korean heritage, travels and culinary experiences to create innovative, well-balanced dishes which has earned the restaurant two MICHELIN stars and a respectable place on the Asia’s Best 50 Restaurants list. In November, Chef Chan and Chef Kim will come together to present a collaborative menu that showcases their culinary expertise and unique heritage.

For two nights, NanLu’s Executive Chef Fang Yi will present his expertly crafted dishes that are well-balanced, made with high-quality ingredients, and showcase the elegance of Zhejiang cuisine to the guests at Wynn Macau.

Executive Chef Tam Kwok Fung is the mastermind behind Chef Tam’s Seasons. For the first time since 2019, Chef Tam will once again team up with Chef Kai Ho of three-MICHELIN starred Taïrroir, who is known for his French cooking techniques and exceptional execution of elevated Taiwanese cuisine. Together, these two talented MICHELIN-starred chefs will create an elegant tasting menu for two nights in November, honoring Cantonese cuisine and Taiwanese flavors.

Chef Hironori Maeda of Mizumi (Macao) x Chef Takayoshi Watanabe of Teruzushi (Fukuoka)
Recently reopened with a fresh look at Wynn Palace, Mizumi’s Executive Chef Hironori Maeda will partner with celebrity sushi master Chef Takayoshi Watanabe for an exquisite Japanese meal in December. Chef Watanabe is the third-generation Chef Owner of Teruzushi, a sushi restaurant in Fukuoka that was opened over 60 years ago by his grandmother. In addition to his masterful skills, Chef Watanabe is renowned for his entertaining presentation of sushi which has attracted diners from across the globe. In collaboration with Chef Maeda, who was honored three times in Japan’s largest culinary competition RED U-35 and whose expertise has led to him being included in Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia, Chef Watanabe will bring his masterful skills to Macao for three nights, providing guests the opportunity of enjoying an impeccable sushi meal at Wynn Palace.

Acclaimed for his mastery in crafting Cantonese classics, Executive Chef Chan Tak Kwong of the renowned two-MICHELIN-starred Wing Lei restaurant at Wynn Macau will welcome Executive Chef Xu Wenbin from Xizuo·Hokkien Huay Kuan in Shanghai to join forces for a special menu infused with a myriad of Chinese flavors. Under Chef Xu’s leadership, Xizuo·Hokkien Huay Kuan has earned its One-Diamond award in the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide and is also listed as one of the MICHELIN-selected restaurants. Guests can look forward to indulging in the harmonious blend of Cantonese and Fujian culinary traditions as these two chefs prepare a special dining experience in December.
