City of Dreams proudly presents its inaugural Star Chef Gourmet Extravaganza, culinary artistry with star chef! On December 14, join renowned Hong Kong singer Pakho Chau and Executive Chef Angelo Wong from City of Dreams’ prestigious Black Pearl One Diamond restaurant Yi for a spectacular seasonal banquet themed around fancy flower-themed food.
Join us to experience Pakho Chau’s culinary journey and savor his craftsmanship firsthand! The artist attaches great importance to this banquet created in cooperation with Chef Wong. Together, they have drawn inspiration from Pakho’s culinary performances in the TV drama The Spectator and the variety show The ParkhoBen Outdoor Show, as well as the floral arrangements in coffee shops. Using ingredients like Chinese yellow wine, peppercorns, sakura shrimps, and romantic lavender ice cream—all of which feature the Chinese character for “flower”—Chef Wong and Pakho have meticulously crafted a fancy “floral” banquet. This collaboration promises an evening filled with style, creativity, and ingenuity.
As a nod to his one-time ICQ username “Oyster Sauce,” during this feast, Pakho and Chef Wong will create a special homemade oyster sauce for Braised Abalone with Sakura Shrimp Rice Noodles, a visually stunning dish. The oyster sauce becomes a luxurious focal point for this aromatic dish, making it a delight for the eyes as well. In The Spectator, where Pakho plays a coffee shop owner with hidden secrets, he once made ice cream on screen. This evening will recreate that iconic scene: Pakho will delight guests with his lavender ice cream, prepared using liquid nitrogen and paired with Chilled Bird’s Nest and Grape Panna Cotta, offering a delightfully sweet sensory experience.
To elevate the flavors of Sichuan peppercorn oil-roasted pigeon, Pakho and Chef Wong use Pakho’s own secret peppercorn oil, drawing out the dish’s sensational aroma. Another highlight is the Fried Mixed-Grains Rice with Sea Urchin and Fish Maw in Pickled Pepper Sauce, a twist on Pakho’s specialty, sea urchin fried rice. Since Pakho is a fan of spicy food, pickled peppers are used instead, making this a dish to look forward to.
A man who can cook is truly captivating. Join us for an intimate dining experience where Pakho will create lasting memories with guests at every table. This rare opportunity promises to be unforgettable, and seating is limited, so reserve your table now!
