World-renowned chefs gather at Wynn to present 10 new tantalizing culinary events

Wynn is excited to unveil the lineup of culinary talents for the first quarter of 2025, marking a new chapter in its highly anticipated ‘Wynn Guest Chef Dining Series’. From January to March, esteemed chefs and emerging culinary talents will gather at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace to celebrate the diverse flavors of different cuisines through 10 culinary pop-up events. The ‘Wynn Guest Chef Dining Series’, which Wynn has consistently organized, aims to foster exchange and collaboration between Macao and the international dining community. This initiative supports the development of Macao’s culinary sector and highlights the city’s vibrant ‘tourism + gastronomy’ appeal, further enhancing Macao’s status as a UNESCO-designated Creative City of Gastronomy.

Chef Kevin Zhu of Lakeview Palace (Macao) x Chef Justin Yang of Hokkien Cuisine (Chengdu)
Kickstarting the 2025 ‘Wynn Guest Chef Dining Series’, Executive Chef Kevin Zhu of Lakeview Palace at Wynn Palace will collaborate with Owner Chef Justin Yang of Hokkien Cuisine from Chengdu to curate two nights of culinary excellence. With over 16 years of experience, Chef Zhu revitalizes the unique Jiangnan flavors by skillfully fusing Huaiyang and Cantonese cuisines. Chef Justin Yang, recipient of the 2024 MICHELIN Guide Young Chef Award, specializes in a harmonious fusion of traditional Fujian cuisine and contemporary palates which led his restaurant to receive one MICHELIN star and One Diamond in the Black Pearl Restaurant Guide. Together, these chefs will craft an elegant menu highlighting the distinctive flavors of Jiangnan and Fujian.

World-renowned Chef Dharshan Munidasa is the owner of Ministry of Crab, a revered restaurant in Sri Lanka that has been featured multiple times on the Asia 50 Best Restaurants list and celebrates Sri Lanka’s exquisite mud crabs and freshwater prawns sourced from the lagoons and lakes of the island. At Wynn Macau’s seafood restaurant, Drunken Fish, Chef Munidasa will prepare an umami-filled extravaganza featuring carefully selected ingredients combined with Japanese culinary philosophies that highlight the fresh and distinctive flavour profiles of these amazing crustaceans .

Led by Chef Owner Alain Huang, Restaurant “A” in Taipei draws inspiration from Asia while building on French cuisine to offer creatively unique dishes, which led his team to receive a MICHELIN star within its first year of opening. In this collaboration, the two chefs promise to provide guests with an innovative, palate-enriching dining experience.

Joining him in his collaboration is Chef Ren Wenwen of YongFoo Élite in Shanghai, who is known for his focus on exquisite Shanghainese cuisine and his mastery in reviving rare traditional dishes that resulted in consecutive reception of MICHELIN stars recognition. For two nights at Wynn Palace, the two chefs will join hands to present a collaborative menu that showcases refined Jiangnan flavors.

The two-MICHELIN-starred Wing Lei at Wynn Macau is celebrated for its authentic and refined Cantonese cuisine, meticulously crafted by Executive Chef Chan Tak Kwong. Co-founder and Executive Chef Wang Haoquan of the two-MICHELIN-starred Lu Shang Lu is the winner of the prestigious Young Chef Award in MICHELIN Guide Beijing 2023 with a culinary ethos that preserves traditional techniques and incorporates contemporary elements to showcase the essence of Shandong cuisine. Both chefs will collaborate to deliver two evenings of extraordinary gastronomic delights at Wynn Macau, where guests can indulge in both Cantonese and Shandong cuisine at the same time.

Barry Wen, the Executive Chef at Wuhan’s The Nature Flow, combines Hubei and Cantonese cuisines with a seasonality-focused philosophy, which led his restaurant to earn One Diamond in Black Pearl Restaurant Guide in 2024. At Wynn Palace, guests can anticipate an elegant and creative menu curated by the two chefs that showcases distinctive Jiangnan and Hubei flavors.
